“Take a walk or ride down the boardwalk in Pacific Beach, and you’ll get a true taste of this lively beach community: restaurants, hotels, small storefronts offering sunglasses and souvenirs, and people of all ages, soaking up the sun & fresh salty air. I myself am a regular at the Crystal Pier, where novice & pro anglers alike can cast a line. I’m an excellent fishing coach, and available for hire…” Sandbag C. Gull
PB is the destination for thousands of visitors each year, in addition to the lucky few that can call it home. Consider the gridlock traffic of Grand and Garnet a nostalgic nod to the lost art of ‘cruising’, and turn yourself over to the spirit of youthful adventure. Arriving in the area early improves your odds, but it may be best to plan to park some distance from the beach and carry in your supplies for the day.
