Oceanside Harbor & Beach

“Oceanside Harbor (‘The Jetties’) is the northern- most public docking area in San Diego County. The Harbor is home to sweet surfing spots, restaurants, and ocean fishing boat charters. I make it a point to greet each fishing boat, whether they like it or not …”    Sandbag C. Gull

The beach here is unusually broad for the area. Offering plenty of space for all, it does crowd up on major holidays.  Surfers tend to arrive at Harbor Beach at dawn and usually depart by noon.  Bodysurfing, swimming and surfing are all popular pursuits here, as is fishing from the end of the jetties when practical.
